Seaborgium-269 is a heavy, radioactive metal with a half life of about 14 minutes. It was first reported to be synthesized in 1970 by a team led by Albert Ghiorso at Berkeley National Laboratory.

Because of its high instability, Seaborgium doesn't have any uses outside of research purposes.
