Moscovium was named aftern the place it was discovered, Moscow, Russia. It was synthesized there in 2003 at the JINR. It is theorized to have oxidation states of +1 and +3. Its longest lived isotope, Moscovium 290, has h half-life on 650 milliseconds.
Moscovium has no real-world applications because of its short half-life. However, it used to be rumored that element 115 was used to power UFOs in area 51, although this claim has no evidence to support it.
