Lawrencium it the last member of the actinides located on the second row below the periodic table. It is a radioactive metal with a melting point of around 1627 degrees Celsius. It is a reactive metal with properties similar to Lutetium and the rest of the actinides. Lawrencium 266 has a half-life of 11 hours. It was named after Ernest Lawrence, inventer of the cyclotron.
Lawrencium has no uses outside of scientific research due to its intense radioactivity.
